UAPB Student-Athletes Earn Degrees at 165th Spring Commencement
The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff celebrated its 165th Commencement Ceremonies at Simmons Bank Field this weekend.
“I am incredibly proud of this class of graduates,” UAPB Director of Athletics Chris Robinson said. “These young men and women have elevated their respective programs and excelled in the classroom while facing challenging times. They have contributed to record academic standards for our department, and we are proud to say they will represent UAPB well. As they start their new journey, we wish them nothing but success….Once a Golden Lion, Always a Golden Lion.”
The 31 Golden Lions student-athletes represented all 12 of UAPB’s intercollegiate sports. The group of student-athletes was part of nearly 300 total graduates celebrated between bachelors and master’s degrees. Baseball has the most graduates with eight, followed by women’s basketball and football with five.
