UAPB Football Announces Game Themes for 2023 Campaign
PINE BLUFF, AR. – Golden Lion Nation football is slowly approaching as the excitement continues to swell for the upcoming 2023 season.
The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Athletics Department has launched the official game themes for the Golden Lions’ five home games this fall at Simmons Bank Field.
The Golden Lions will have one of the most exciting home schedules in years with games against Miles College, Southern U., Alcorn St., Jackson St., and Grambling St.
“We are literally counting down the days and hours until we can open the gates of Lion’s Den this fall and have one of the best gameday atmospheres in the SWAC,” Athletics Director Chris Robinson said. “We want our gamedays to be a “Golden Experience” for our fans each time they come to The Lion’s Den, and we look forward to our five amazing game themes we have for this season.”
Each of the five home games will feature a centralized theme and other promotions to tie in each day at Simmons Bank Field.
UAPB vs. Miles (Sept. 16) – High School/ Band/Community/ Staff & Faculty Appreciation Day (UAPB Sports Network)
UAPB vs. Southern U. (Sept. 30) – Black Out/ Greek Night (UAPB Sports Network)
UAPB vs. Alcorn St. (Oct. 21) – Gold Rush Homecoming (HBCU GO Sports)
UAPB vs. Jackson St. (Nov. 28) – Pink Out / Breast Cancer Awareness (UAPB Sports Network)
UAPB vs. Grambling St. (Nov. 10) – Senior Day / Military / First Responders & Teacher Appreciation Day (ESPNU)
Ticket Pricing
With season-ticket prices as low as $90 for adults, fans can attend five Golden Lions home games for a low price of less than $25 per game. Purchasing season tickets for the 2023 season will save fans a considerable amount versus purchasing single-game tickets.
