The Convention Center and Hotel Public Facilities Board met Thursday for the first time since March to pay some outstanding bills and talk about the future.
Letrece Harris, who chairs the board explained the delay and expressed support for the project.
Harris said there has been a lot of work done and a lot invested in the project.
The board approved payments of $300,000 to an architectural firm and almost $45,000 to the P3 Group during the meeting which was held on Zoom.
Harris also talked about what is next, after reports that another $1.4 million is needed for the project.
She said the board and developers are still searching for answers and hope to have some in the next few months.
