Drummers of the world, rejoice! Taylor Hawkins and Matt Cameron are starting a new band together.
The Foo Fighters and Pearl Jam/Soundgarden drummers have launched Nighttime Boogie Association. You can listen to the duo’s first two singles, “The Path We’re On” and ““Long in the Tooth,” now via digital outlets.
“Taylor and I are both songwriters in these pretty big, popular bands,” Cameron tells Rolling Stone. “I think we bonded over the fact that we both write music and record demos.”
Foo Fighters are set to release a new album called Medicine at Midnight on February 5, 2021. Pearl Jam released their latest record, Gigaton, earlier this year in March.
