State Rep. Mike Holcomb discussed the recent tax cut legislation

Current State Representative Mike Holcomb who has served for 12 years in the Arkansas General Assembly was a guest on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show and he was asked why he decided to run for the position.

Holcomb, a Republican from Pine Bluff does not have an opponent in November.

He also talked about the recently completed special session of the legislature where the lawmakers voted to reduce individual and corporate taxes.

Morning Show host Greg Horne and Will Jenkins both previously lived in Texas where the tax structure is different and he asked Holcomb if there had ever been talk about trying to structure the tax system here like that.

Holcomb went on to say this.
