Stamp price could be on the rise again

The U.S. Postal Service could be asking for another rate hike on stamps. The price for stamps could be going from 68 cents to 73 cents. This would mark the largest one time hike in history. The request to raise the price was made by the Postal Regulatory Commission, which must approve the proposed increase.  If approved, the price for the “forever” stamp would take effect on July 14th. The Postmaster General recently warned customers to get used to uncomfortable rate hikes as the Postal Service seeks to become self-sufficient.
