The Lady Lions Volleyball Summer Camps are designed for athletes of all ages and experience levels, from beginners learning the fundamentals of the sport to advanced players preparing for collegiate competition. Each camp will emphasize skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence while introducing participants to the qualities college coaches seek in prospective student-athletes.

“Our goal is to help every athlete become a better volleyball player while building confidence and a love for the game,” said UAPB Head Coach Gabriel Floyd. “Whether you’re just beginning or preparing to play at the next level, our coaching staff is committed to providing instruction that challenges each camper while teaching the importance of hard work, discipline, communication, and being coachable. Those are the qualities that separate great players and are what college coaches value most.”

Throughout the two-day camp series, participants will receive hands-on instruction from the Lady Lions coaching staff and current student-athletes, learning proper techniques through drills, position-specific training, and competitive game play.

The camps are designed to help athletes improve their volleyball IQ while developing the technical skills necessary to succeed both in competition and in future recruiting opportunities. In addition to on-court instruction, Coach Floyd and the Lady Lions coaching staff will discuss the intangibles college coaches evaluate beyond athletic ability, including leadership, communication, work ethic, accountability, academic success, and a willingness to be coached.
