The Sheridan School District has revived the Ready for Learning Task Force to make plans for the 2021-2022 school year.

According to the Sheridan Headlight newspaper, the task force was first created last summer to make recommendations regarding policy and procedures to safely reopen the district for in-person learning that had been halted because of COVID-19.

Superintendent Jerrod Williams told the Sheridan School Board during a meeting earlier this month that the task force “did a phenomenal job at shaping our district’s reopening plans this past summer.”
“I wanted to reconvene the task force to give us guidance for next year as well. The task force is a hugh part of the reason why we were able to stay in school with better success rates than our neighboring counties,” he said.
