Shootings and stabbings at college campuses have resulted in the deaths of students in Virginia and Idaho.
On Tuesday, Lynette Bloomberg, who is heading security at Southeast Arkansas College talked about it on the Oldies 1013 morning show.
Host Greg Horne told Bloomberg that although SEARK’s campus is not as large as the campuses of the other schools, security has to be a matter of concern.
She went on to say that SEARK partners with both the Pine Bluff Police Department and Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and although there has never been an incident on campus, both those agencies have expressed their willingness to help if one ever occurs.
