Demolition work is continuing on the former nursing home on South Hazel Street that by late summer will be dormitories for Southeast Arkansas College student-athletes and others.
On Tuesday, Dr. Stephen Bloomberg, president of SEARK was asked about the work when he appeared on the Oldies 1013 morning show.
Morning show host Greg Horne told Bloomberg that the school was “moving very quickly” on the project and Bloomberg responded this way.
Bloomberg went on to say that doing the work the way it is being done means cost savings for the school.
