Southeast Arkansas College held a special board meeting on Thursday to discuss a pay request from P3 Group which is working with the institution on developing projects.

SEARK President Steven Bloomberg began the meeting by briefing the board on the reason behind the request.

D. Brown President of P3 Group was also present at the meeting to explain why they are requesting the reimbursement and the current progress of their project.

In relation to the student center development, Brown explained that the investors would like the construction of the housing development to be happening simultaneously.

After being asked where the funds would be coming from, Bloomberg responded this way.

After a few clarifying questions in regard to the money being replaced in the institution’s reserve, the board voted unanimously to approve the request.
