Wednesday is United Way Day on Oldies 1013 and Jason Perdue of the Salvation Army was asked what the Salvation Army has going as we get closer to the holidays.
Perdue also said the Angel Tree program is in full swing.
Morning show host Greg Horne asked him how people can go about adopting an angel.
He said people why purchase gifts should not wrap them before delivering them to the Salvation Army and whenever possible, families whose children are receiving the gifts are given wrapping paper so they can participate in wrapping the gifts themselves.
