For the past three months, the Jefferson County Quorum Court has not been able to pass any legislation due to conflicts between several members of the court and County Judge Gerald Robinson over an ordinance setting out rules and policies for the operation of the court.

They will try again April 24 with an ordinance prepared by Robinson being the first item on the agenda.

Appearing on the Oldies 1013 morning show, Robinson was asked what was going to happen at that meeting.

He was then asked if some of the members of the court could be convinced to switch their vote and support his legislation.

Robinson was also asked if there is a point where the state can step in and do something to break the stalemate.
