Rashad Williams set to play in All-Star Game

UAPB guard Rashad Williams will be heading to Arizona next month to compete in the prestigious HBCU All-Star Game. The game will be at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix at noon on April 7th, and be broadcast on CBS.

Williams, the SWAC Newcomer of The Year, averaged just under 18 points per game to lead the Golden Lions. He was sizzling from three, hitting over 40% from beyond the arc.  Williams is a grad student at UAPB, who formerly played at Cleveland State, Oakland and St. Louis before coming to the Golden Lions.
