Pine Bluff voters will have two choices for Mayor and two for a spot on the City Council when they go to the polls in November.

Vivian Flowers, who is the Democratic Party nominee for Mayor will face John Fenley, who will run as a Libertarian for the position. Flowers defeated incumbent Mayor Shirley Washington in a run-off.

In Ward 3, Position 1,  William Fells, who defeated incumbent Glen Brown Sr., will take on Colton Edwards who is running as an independent.

Two candidates have filed for Zone 7 of the Pine Bluff School Board. Patrick Lockett and Charlene Wright are seeking to replace current board member Lori Walker, who chose not to seek another term. Zone 6 incumbent Bonita Corbin, who was appointed to replace a member who resigned had no opposition.

Also, three current members of the Watson Chapel School District Board, Zone 2 incumbent Mack Milner, Zone 4 incumbent Donnie Hartsfield and Zone 5 incumbent Goldie Whitaker will continue to serve as they will run unopposed.
