A Prattsville man was killed in a one vehicle accident in Grant County Sunday night.
According to a preliminary report from the Arkansas Department of Public Safety, Jason L. Smith, 46, was southbound on Highway 291 when the 1998 Buick he was driving left the roadway. When Smith attempted to re-enter the roadway, he reportedly over-corrected and the vehicle overturned several times. Smith was ejected from the vehicle.
The death was the 132nd reported so far this year on the state’s highways.
