A Pine Bluff woman previously convicted of misdemeanor domestic battery was arrested Wednesday after she was involved in an altercation with her daughter.

Monica Granderson, 51, was convicted of third-degree domestic battery on Sept. 5, Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander said during a court hearing Friday.

Reading from an affidavit from Sheriff’s Lt. Kaylon McDaniel, Alexander explained the circumstances that led to the arrest.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $2,500 bond for Granderson after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge her with second offense third-degree domestic battery, a felony. Granderson was ordered to have no contact with her daughter until the case is settled and told to come back to court Dec. 15.
