Pine Bluff tight end Jordon Harris burst onto the scene during his senior season playing football for the first time since his 7th grade year and quickly caught the attention of college football coaches across the country.

Harris picked up offers from Air Force, Alcorn State, Arkansas State, Bowling Green, Louisiana-Monroe, Memphis, Missouri, South Florida, and Vanderbilt after a stellar season. The 3-Star rated prospect on Rivals.com ultimately chose to sign with the Missouri Tigers after taking several visits.

Harris spoke with Deltaplex News Wednesday saying that he is appreciative of all of the people that supported him during his recruiting process.

He said that the recruiting process was a whirlwind process for him.

Harris said that he ultimately picked Missouri because it felt like home to him.

Harris not only impressed on the football field, he also impressed in the classroom. He currently holds a 4.0 GPA and scored a 21 on the ACT. He said that success in the classroom is just as important to him as anything else.

Harris is also a member of the Zebras basketball team, and said he has a few goals remaining before he graduates in the spring.
