Statement from PBSD
On Friday, May 24, 2024, following our PBHS graduation ceremony, an unfortunate incident occurred. According to sources, several people were involved in a fight. Both school district security officers and PBPD officers were present. Additional support was provided by the Sheriff’s Department. Local law enforcement made several arrests. It is very unfortunate that this happened on a momentous occasion for our students. The safety of our students and our patrons will always be top priority. The Pine Bluff School District will continue to do what we can to make all who attend PBSD events feel they are in a safe environment.
