Earlier this week, Pine Bluff School District Superintendent Jennifer Barbaree talked about how the district has been able to save money by “right sizing” the district.
Barbaree appeared on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show and host Greg Horne continued that discussion, asking if that was for example, having 200 fourth-grade students at a school and over time seeing that number drop to 100. Where you had 8 teachers and now you need only 4.
Horne asked if the district was also recruiting new teachers to come to the district that have not been here before.
He also asked if having a new high school building will be a recruiting incentive.
