Reading from an affidavit by Detective Sgt. Corey Wilfong, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West said Friday afternoon, police were sent to Simmons Bank on West 28th Avenue in response to a report that a man was trying to cash a check that had been reported stolen.

Wilfong reported that police spoke to Brock’s girlfriend who said they got a ride to the bank from another individual and Brock was the one trying to cash the check.
