A $10,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man accused of hitting another man with a vehicle Tuesday.

Lincoln County District Judge Phillip Green set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Christophe Henderson, 38, with second-degree battery. Green was sitting in for Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney.

Henderson was identified as the suspect after police responded to a reported disturbance at the 16th Avenue and Main Street gas station at 7:54 p.m.

Prosecuting Attorney S. Kyle Hunter said police talked to the male victim.

Henderson was located the following day and taken to the detective’s office where police questioned him.

Henderson said he would hire his own attorney and was told to have no contact with the victim until the case is settled.
