As work is continuing on the Third Ward Park, Pine Bluff City Council Member Lanette Frazier is continuing to raise money for improvements.
Frazier appeared on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show and was asked about the status of the park.
She said the check presentation will be made at the site of the park, which was formerly known as Bush Field.
Frazier specifically thanked William Fells, who defeated incumbent Third Ward Council Member GlenBrown Sr., and barring an independent running I November, will also represent the Third Ward beginning in January.
She said she and Fells had visited parks in Little Rock to see how their fields are laid out, how the concession stands are placed so they can have some ideas for the Third Ward park.
Frazier also said she has a lot of ideas for the park.
