Olivia Rodrigo was the star of the show on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Tuesday night.
The pop star kicked off the show in a skit with Jimmy Kimmel and his family. In the clip, Jimmy, his wife, Molly, and their children, Jane and Billy, are on their way to school when Jimmy surprised the others by picking up a “hitchhiker” that just so happened to be Olivia.
“Do you guys mind if I hitch a ride to school with you guys” the “vampire” singer asked as she climbed into the car.
After she wasall buckled in, the group chatted about their favorite songs of Olivia’s, to which Billy answered “get him back,” prompting Molly to ask, “What do you want to do when you get him back?”
“Punch him in the penis,” Bill answered matter of factly.
Kimmel ended the ride with a few words of wisdom for the singer, telling her, “Olivia, this was fun, but I do feel compelled to tell you that it’s not safe to hitchhike, and you’re lucky we came along, and I hope you don’t do that again.”
“Yeah. I’m sorry, I just — I don’t have any driver’s license,” she quipped.
Later, during the sit down interview portion of the show, the “drivers license” songstress admitted that had she not blown up as a singer she would have loved to be a babysitter.
“That’s one of my biggest dreams that I’ve never accomplished,” she said. “I really would love to be a babysitter. I love kids. If you ever are in the market for a babysitter, hit me up.”
To cap off the show she performed “ballad of a homeschooled girl” from her latest album GUTS.
