1929-2024
Virginia Lee Pierce Gray, 94, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on April 4, 2024. She was born December 7, 1929, in Hampton, to Jesse Lee and Versie Lee Holmes Pierce.
Virginia graduated from Watson Chapel High School and had worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 25 years, retiring as a Plant Assigner. She was a member of Watson Chapel Baptist Church and loved her family.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Anthony Gray, whom she married on October 18, 1948, and who passed away October 9, 2017; her parents; a son, Paul A. Gray; brother, Jess Pierce; and two sisters, Joyce Petty and Norma Patillo.
Survivors include a son, Gary D. Gray (Karen) of Pine Bluff; brother, Paul Pierce of White Hall; grandsons, Gary Kevin Gray, Steven Kyle Gray, Ryan Keith Gray, Jarad Anthony Gray, and Andrew Gray; great-grandchildren Lucas, Nora, Anna and Emma Gray; and daughter-in-law, Rita Gray.
Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Ramick Cemetery. Rev. Todd Howard will officiate.
