1965-2024
Thomas “Tommy” Allen Hogue, age 58, passed away April 1, 2024. He was born April 30, 1965 in Dumas, Arkansas to the late Robert “Gene” Hogue and Geneva Wilson Hogue. Thomas was of the Baptist faith. He loved bowling, fishing, attending the McGehee Owls games and cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks. The joy of his life was playing with his dog Sassy.
Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Mary Hogue and stepdaughter Becky Grice. Survivors include his significant other Kimberly “Kim” East; stepsons, Danny Light of Plainview, AR and Alex Light of Wilmar, AR; stepdaughter Tammy Mays Wilkerson of Little Rock, AR; brothers Kenny (Trish) Hogue of Ellijay, GA and Rickey (Teresa) Hogue of Green Forrest, AR; Sisters Linda (Jackie) Stracener, Newtown, MO and Regina Potter of Mansfield, AR; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 5-7 pm at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be held Friday, April 5, 2024, at 2:00 pm, at Calvary Baptist Church. Interment will take place at McGehee Cemetery.
