1936-2024
Stella Marian Coffman Fuhrman, 87, of Gillett passed away April 28, 2024. She was born to Emery B. Coffman and Roberta Place Coffman on November 24, 1936, in Gillett. Marian married Leland W. Fuhrman on October 3, 1954.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, and an active member of the Dorcas Circle and the American Legion Auxiliary. Marian enjoyed cover making with the Dorcas quilters, baking bread, her flowers and feeding her humming birds. She loved singing in the Christmas cantatas with the community choir.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Kathy Woods; and grandson Zack Fisher.
She is survived by her husband Leland Fuhrman; two daughters Sharon Tidwell (Randy) and Bonnie Fisher (Arlis) both of Glenwood and one son Benny Fuhrman (Paula) of Hot Springs; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and her sister Thelma Gordon of Gillett. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Gary Fuhrman (Sue) of Gillett and two sisters-in-law Correne Fuhrman and Liz Alderman both of Hot Springs and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. May 1 at Essex Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. May 2 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Gillett with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery.
