Richard Wayne Vail, 61
1962-2024

Richard Wayne “Rick” Vail of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 30, 1962 at Little Rock, the son of James and Dorothy Dare Vail. He had worked most recently with the Arkansas Department of Health and The Sheridan Post Office. He enjoyed being outdoors, both fishing and hunting, and was an Arkansas Razorback fan. Rick loved the Lord and had a strong desire to learn all he could about the Bible, so he could share it with others. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Sheridan. Over the years, he enjoyed teaching as well as preaching. He even officiated two of his sisters’ weddings. One of his greatest joys was being a part of the lives of all the children in his family as they were growing up.

Although Rick’s health may have failed him, his Savior never did, and He took him home to Heaven, free from sickness, Thursday, February 29, 2024 at the age of 61.
