Renee Gideon Rucker, 83, of Jefferson, was a loving mother, game show enthusiast and avid card player who had a deep Catholic faith.
She passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024 in Pine Bluff.
Mrs. Rucker was born October 7, 1940 in Bainbridge Island, Washington, daughter of Eldon and Vivian Heikkila Gideon.
She was reared and received her early education in Washington state.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Zeuss; and a brother, Richard Gideon.
Survivors include two daughters, Patti Westra (Jeff) of Spokane, Washington and Debbie Boyer (Larry) of Clarksville, Tennessee; two sons, Charles “Chuck” Rucker, Jr. (Stephanie) and Steven Rucker, both of Jefferson; grandchildren, Dana, Josie, Michael, Wesley, Michael, Danielle, Rebecca and Jessie; and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2024 in the Reception Room at Robinson and Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel with Father Joseph Marconi officiating. Burial will be private.
