Patricia “Patty” Jackson Appleby, 78 of Pine Bluff, Arkansas passed away February 26, 2024, in Monticello, Arkansas. Patty was born June 3, 1945, in Holland, Missouri and was the daughter of the late Franklin Jackson, Sr., and Elizabeth Williams Jackson. Her parents and husband Walter B. Appleby, brothers Franklin Jackson, Jr., Calvin Jackson, Ronnie Jackson and sister Leona Branum all preceded her in death.
Patty was Baptist by faith and retired from United State Department of Agriculture, where she was an agricultural commodities cotton grader for seventeen years.
She will be greatly missed, especially by those who called her mom & nana.
Survivors are two daughters Michelle Appleby of Springdale, Arkansas and Tonua Curry of Dumas, Arkansas, brother Alfred Jackson of Moore, Oklahoma and two sisters Bonnie (Carl) Yeggy and Fonda LaMont all of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, three grandchildren; Brad and Chase Curry and Samantha Craig (Charlie) Champion and two great-grandchildren Brogan and Ren Champion.
In honoring Patty’s finial wishes, no memorial service is scheduled.
