1934-2024
Margaret E. Marshall Neal, 89, of Carthage died Friday April 12, 2024 at Trinity Village Medical Center in Pine Bluff. Born December 10, 1934 at Carthage, she was a daughter of the late Horace Marshall and Nancy Raney Marshall.
She loved her family and friends like no others. She loved gardening, animals, and her very special Hootie Cat.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, B. Gene Neal and her siblings, Delora Wallace, Dora Atkins, Katherine Roberts, Joy Bolin, Carolyn Starks, Marolyn Marshall, Chester Marshall, Gerald Marshall, and Darrell Marshall.
She is survived by her daughters Kim Noles of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Mandy Noles of Carthage; a brother, Johnny Marshall of Monticello; many nieces and nephews and their children; and a host of family and MMAR friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday April 16 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Hampton Springs Cemetery. There will be a gathering after the services at the Fellowship Hall at the First Presbyterian Church in Carthage.
