1940-2024
Jeanette F. Sipes, 83, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on April 11, 2024. She was born July 23, 1940, in Morrilton, to George and Ollie Kelly Strickland.
Jeanette had previously owned and operated a successful business, Jeanette’s Delivery Service Inc., for 32 years. Jeanette was of the Baptist faith and loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lincoln Sipes of fifty plus years; sons, Lowell Ray Rogers, Tifford Lamoin Rogers; grandson, John “Bubba” Allen Rogers; sisters, Dorothy Reed, Bula May Swilling; brother, Jimmy Carol Strickland; half-brothers, Earl Whitehead, and Hershal Whitehead.
Survivors include a daughter, Melissa Jeanette (Jimmy) Roberts of Pine Bluff; a son, John Allen (Debbie) Rogers of El Dorado; brother, George (Sue) Strickland, Jr. of Greenville, Mississippi; grandchildren, Michael Rogers of Pine Bluff, Tiffany Rogers of Clarksville, Cody (Wendy) Roberts of Sheridan, Shelby (Austin) Holcomb of Sheridan, Brittany Rogers of El Dorado, Hunter Sullivan of El Dorado, Chase Sullivan of El Dorado, Katlyn Rogers of Virginia; great-grandchildren, Lincoln Roberts, Beckett Holcomb Audrey Rogers, Bently Rogers, Calyin Rogers, Dalton Rogers, Ryan Rogers, Robert Allen, Jonathon Allen, and Raygan Allen.
Graveside service by Ralph Robinson & Son will be Monday, April 15, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., in Rowell Cemetery with Reverend Mack Milner officiating.
