1968-2024
James Heath Coit, 55, of DeWitt passed away on April 24, 2024. He was born December 24, 1968, in Stuttgart to William E. (Billy) Coit and Faylene Butler Coit.
Heath worked with his dad for over 20 years doing carpenter work and in 2015 started trucking under Coit Trucking which he did until his health failed in November 2023.
Heath was a loving and devoted son, always there to help his mom and dad when needed. He enjoyed sports, hunting, and his dog, Keta.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Jimmy and Charlene Butler and Sam and Hazel Coit.
Heath is survived by his parents Billy and Faylene Coit, brother Bryant Coit (Cindy), and nephew Ryan Coit of DeWitt.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 27 from 1-2:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God in DeWitt with funeral services beginning at 2:00. Burial will follow in Cedarcrest Memorial Gardens by Essex Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to First Assembly of God Church, 1520 S. Grandview Dr., DeWitt, AR 72042 or Gideons International.
