1932-2024
Jacqueline Kilgore, 91 of Little Rock died Sunday February 25, 2024 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. Born August 24, 1932 at Oil Trough, AR, she was a daughter of the late Osier Goodman and Buna Roberson Goodman.
She was a certified nurse anesthetist and she owned and operated several nursing homes for 60 years.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John Kilgore, two sons, John Kilgore, Jr. and Joel Deen Kilgore; a daughter, Jett Kilgore; a sister, Jimmie Henson; mother and father-in-law, Roy and Minnie Vick Kilgore.
She is survived by her children, Janie Macdonald and her husband, Bruce of Benton, Jill Kilgore, Jeanie Kilgore, Joy Kilgore, all of Little Rock; Jocko Kilgore and wife Sara of San Luis Obispo, CA, Phillip Sliger of Little Rock, Bill Sliger and his wife Tiffany of Benton; eight grandchildren, JJ Chaidez, Casey Pettit, Zachary Payne, James Noah Kilgore, Bailey Kilgore, Jordan Kilgore, Olivia Sliger, Jonah Romine; four great-grandchildren, Isabel Chaidez, Mason Chaidez, Lily Payne, Zoey Payne; special friend Ron Collins; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday February 29, 2024 at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel in Fordyce.
