Gloria Bell Franks, age 86, of Pine Bluff, died Saturday, April 13, 2024.
Born December 22, 1937 at Biscoe, AR, she was a daughter of the late Elzie Dollar and Vera Hudson Dollar. She grew up in Lepanto, AR.
A resident of Pine Bluff since 1972, Mrs. Franks was a retired factory worker at Stant Manufacturing.
She preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, John L. “Buck” Franks on June 11, 2006; a grandson, Hubert “Bubba” Olivier, III; and seven siblings, Tommy Dollar, Albert Dollar, Van Dollar, Calvin Dollar, Bob Dollar, Wynell Stacks, and Kenneth Dollar.
Survivors include her children, Judy Ross (Jimmy) of Carrollton, VA, Deborah Olivier (Ricky) of Kaplan, LA, and John Lee Franks, III of Pine Bluff; a sister, Charlotte Jenkins of Carlisle; five grandchildren, Jimmy Ross, II, Amanda Lassiter, Jerret Olivier, Christina Stovall (Kyle), and John Lee Franks, IV; 16 great-grandchildren, Ayla Moran, Christian Goodeyon, Jimmy Ross, III, Faith Goodeyon, Kaleb Ross, Jayden Goodeyon, Callie Ross, Ruby Lassiter, Lexi Ross, Dylon Olivier, Gracie Abshire, Jagger Olivier, Carson Abshire, Braxton Olivier, Zander Olivier, and Kaylee Bell Franks; along with two great-great-grandchildren, Charlotte Moran and Paisley Olivier.
Private family services will be held with interment in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements are by Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors.
