Cherrynell Weatherly, age 77 of Bearden passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden, Arkansas. She was born March 23, 1946 in Bearden, Arkansas. She was a retired bookkeeper for Weatherly Trucking and a member of Bearden First Assembly of God Church.
Cherrynell is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Jordan Abbott and Frances Virginia Beard Abbott; husband, Joe Weatherly; brother, John “Dub” Abbott; and brother-in-law, Maurice Quarles. She is survived by one son, Chase (Allison) Weatherly of Bearden; one sister, Charlotte Quarles of Bearden; one brother, Bob Abbott of Pine Bluff; and two grandchildren, Hannah and Hunter Weatherly of Bearden.
Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday at Bearden First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Travis George officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery near Sparkman.
