Charlie Esial Moore, 81
1942-2024

Mr. Charlie Esial Moore, 81, of Harlem, Georgia, left his earthly home to join his Lord and Savior in Heaven on Sunday, March 31, 2024.

He was born in Star City, Arkansas, on October 22, 1942. He was a member of White Hall United Methodist Church of White Hall, Arkansas.

He retired after 21 years of service with The Pine Bluff Fire Department and worked for The City of White Hall for 14 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Beason Moore, and Charlie Beatrice Moore; his sister, Virginia Socia; brothers, Ovie, Leon, Willard, and Jimmy Moore.

He was a loving husband to his wife, Emily Genette Moore, who stood by him faithfully "in sickness and in health." She was his sweetheart of 59 years. He was a kind loving father to his daughter, Michelle (Chris) Sargent, and two sons, Troy and C.J. (Melissa) Moore. He was also a wonderful grandfather to twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, April 5, 2024, at 1:00 pm and funeral services will follow at 2 pm at White Hall United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in White Hall Methodist Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Shawn Sargent, Logan Sargent, Corey Sargent, Jericho Moore, Fisher Woolems, Brad Curry, and Alan Carrington.
