Billy T. Edmonds, 90 of Star City, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Gardner Nursing Center in Star City. He was born August 7, 1933 in Star City to the late George and Beulah Morrison Edmonds. He was the owner/operator of the local feed store, attended Overcoming Faith Worship Center, loved to coon hunt, loved to garden, and loved to go on horse and wagon rides.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ardath Marie Edmonds; daughter, Debbra Polony; 4 brothers, Herbert Edmonds, JG Edmonds, Charles Edmonds, and Joe G. Edmonds; and a sister, Marnell Green.
Survivors include a son, William “Bully” Edmonds of Island Lake, IL; 3 daughters, Kay Hodge of Maryville, TN, Kelly (Randy) Lutz of Ft. Worth, TX, and Pam (Thomas) Fish of Star City; brother, Mackie (Vicky) Edmonds of Star City; sister, Mary “Tootsie” Bradshaw of Star City; 8 grandchildren, Amber Gibson, Savannah Edmonds, Michael Hodge, Bryce Hodge, Brendon Hodge, Kyle Lutz, Hayden Lutz, and Gary Polony; 5 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandchild.
Funeral services are 2:00PM Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Griffin Funeral Service Chapel in Star City with Bro. Don Borland officiating. Visitation is 1:00-2:00PM Saturday at the funeral home. Burial at Oak Grove Cemetery in Yorktown. Pallbearers are Jody Edmonds, Davy Edmonds, Jimmy Edmonds, Joe Bradshaw, and Al Bradshaw.
