Billy Holloway, 72
1952-2024

William Arnold “Billy” Holloway of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 10, 1952 at Malvern, the son of the late Arnold and Dorothy Harrison Holloway. He was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and had served in the Arkansas Army National Guard. He spent years in the racing community where he made lifelong friendships. Billy was the heart and soul and the legacy of BMH Logging. He was a friend, mechanic, welder, cow raiser, fixer of all things, and so much more that could be said. He actually never retired from working, he was there to assist anyone on anything that was needed. He was formerly a member of the Grant County Conservation District board and was previously a Mason. One of his greatest pleasures was working his cows and especially cutting and baling hay. He was a skilled craftsman and could either fix it, or design and build it. No plans or patterns, just instinct and know-how. Billy was a humble man who made it his life’s mission to always put everyone else first.

If you knew him, there’s no doubt you’ve been encouraged by him. To Billy Holloway, everyone mattered and he made sure you knew it. His family was his proudest achievement. He cherished each of them as much as they did him.
