Nikki Sixx is denying the authenticity of an eBay listing asserting to be selling a shirt belonging to the Mötley Crüe bassist.

The seller apparently claimed that Sixx wore the skull-adorned shirt during the Crüe’s 2015 farewell show. The asking price? A cool $19,960.

While perhaps a stage-worn Nikki Sixx shirt from a historic concert is a bargain at any price for a particularly well-off fan — and with free shipping, no less! — that value probably plummets if it didn’t actually belong to the famous rocker.

That’s unfortunately the case here, as Sixx posted a screenshot of the listing on his Instagram Story and declared, “Not my shirt.”

The listing has since been seemingly removed from eBay — hopefully because it was fake, and not because someone already dropped nearly $20,000 on it.
