Your week is about to get a lot heavier, courtesy of Metallica.
In a post to the metal legends’ Instagram Story on Tuesday, drummer Lars Ulrich revealed that “new music” related to the band’s S&M2concert will drop on Wednesday.
“Tune in tomorrow to hear new Metallica music from S&M2,” Ulrich says in the post.
Additionally, a trailer teasing the home release of S&M2 will premiere Wednesday at 9 a.m. ET.
S&M2 was a two-night concert special Metallica performed alongside the San Francisco Symphony last fall. Filmed versions of the shows screened in theaters during a series of limited engagements.
This past month, Ulrich revealed that Metallica was putting together a special S&M2 box set, which will be released in August.
