A Pine Bluff man previously convicted of misdemeanor domestic battery was arrested Friday after allegedly hitting and pushing his wife.

Curtis Ray Price, 53, was taken into custody after police responded to a reported domestic disturbance at 5411 Middle Warren Road, Deputy Prosecutor Lisa McGriff said during s court hearing Monday.

McGriff said Price is currently on probation and because of that, Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set a $5,000 cash-only bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with second offense third-degree domestic battery, a felony.

Price said he would hire his own attorney and was told to have no contact with his wife until the case is settled.
