The Marcus C. Harris II Moving Forward Program will host the TOPPS Annual Young Men’s Conference 2026 on Saturday, June 20, at 10 a.m. at the Pine Bluff Convention Center, 1 Convention Center Plaza.
The event is open to young men ages 8–18 and is designed to provide guidance, encouragement and practical tools for overcoming life challenges and building a successful future.
This year’s theme is “Navigating Life Challenges and Strategies for Success.”
Organizers say the conference will focus on leadership development, personal growth, decision-making, perseverance and preparing participants for long-term success.
Deltaplex News interviewed Jordan Sims, who runs The Marcus C. Harris II Moving Forward Program.
Teamed up with Annette Dove, under the TOPPS umbrella, they’re coming together to organize this event so young men can be given the necessary skills for navigating life.
Sims talks about this, telling us about what they have planned for this conference.
A lineup of speakers will include Thurman Shaw, Marcus Rivers, R. Roosevelte Williams III and Derick D. Brooks, who will share messages aimed at motivating and mentoring attendees.
Participants are encouraged to connect with positive role models, build confidence, and gain skills that can be applied in everyday life.
