Golden Lion fans poured into the stadium on Wednesday morning as dignitaries, administrators, and coaches took to the 50 yard line for the ribbon cutting ceremony of the all new Simmons Bank Field.
The sounds of the Marching Musical Machine of the Mid-South filled the stadium as the cheerleaders, pom squad and flag line performed for the audience.
The newly renovated home of the Golden Lions features a brand new turf playing surface, a jumbotron scoreboard and an upgraded audio/video system.
The Golden Lions will host Morehouse College this Saturday at 6pm at Simmons Bank Field.
