Student artwork from across southeast Arkansas is currently on display at the University of Arkansas at Monticello as part of the 2026 Southeast Arkansas Regional Art Exhibit.
Each year, art educators from 10 counties submit standout pieces created by their K-12 students for inclusion in the exhibit, which highlights the creativity, talent and hard work of young artists in the region.
This year’s exhibit, organized by the Arkansas Art Educators organization, is being held in the Spencer Gallery inside the Fine Arts Center on the UAM campus and will remain on display through March 29.
The exhibit features artwork from students in kindergarten through 12th grade representing schools in Ashley, Bradley, Calhoun, Chicot, Cleveland, Desha, Drew, Jefferson, Lincoln and Union counties.
A closing reception and awards ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, March 29, at 2:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
First-place winners from each grade level will advance to a statewide exhibition in Little Rock, where their work will be displayed alongside top student artwork from across Arkansas.
