A Little Rock man was killed in the early morning hours Monday when he lost control of the car he was driving which struck a utility pole and overturned.
According to a preliminary report, Corey Bell, 23, was thrown from the 2015 Dodge he was driving and the car then struck a parked vehicle which was unoccupied at South Woodrow Street and Wet 11th Avenue.
Bell was taken to a Little Rock hospital where he died.
The accident was reported at 12:50 a.m. and the death was the 498th so far this year on the state’s highways.
