Jane’s Addiction has released a new documentary called Replay 2020.
The film includes footage from the “Been Caught Stealing” band’s performance during last summer’s virtual Lollapalooza festival, which marked the first Jane’s Addiction concert in three years. It also features interviews with band members Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro, Stephen Perkins and Chris Chaney.
“After 35 years of fighting I’m super glad we’re all alive and sounding so good,” says Farrell. “This session just sparked my imagination on what we can accomplish during the next 10 years.”
Replay 2020 is streaming now via The Coda Collection, a new, music-focused subscription streaming channel on Amazon Prime Video.
Perhaps Jane’s Addiction will be performing in-person when Lollapalooza returns — Farrell recently teased that the festival he founded would be coming back “soon” while announcing he’d received his COVID-19 vaccine.
