Law enforcement sources have informed Deltaplex News that Highway 79 is closed in Jefferson County at the Free River Bridge due to inclement weather.
The closure took place Sunday evening.
No other information has been shared at this time, but is has been noted that the Arkansas River bridge on Highway 63 which is built on top of Lock and Dam 4 is also being monitored at this time and is considered as “slick”.
