Griffin Drops Out of Governor’s Race To Seek AG Position Instead

Lt. Governor Tim Griffin is seeking the Republican nomination for Attorney General according to his Facebook page.  Griffin, who is term-limited in his position, was in the race for Governor.  The former Congressman has raised $1.8 million so far this campaign season.

With the Lt. Gov. switching races, there are now two candidates vying for the Republican nomination for the top spot in the state, AG Leslie Rutledge and former White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
