Free COVID-19 testing events have been scheduled for this week and next in cities in Southeast Arkansas.

According to the McGehee Dermott Times-News, testing will take place Friday at the Dumas Community Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., on Thursday, June 11 at the Train Depot at 101 Railroad St., in McGehee from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and on June 12 at the Dermott School Parking lot from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The free events are being organized by Mainline Health Systems and the Arkansas Rural Health Partnership. Testing is also available at the Arkansas Department of Health units at Dumas and Lake Village during regular office hours.
